York Suburban put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Central Dauphin East Panthers by a score of 11-7.

Ava King made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up four earned (and three unearned) runs off seven hits. King was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Sophia Maldonado, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. Celina Jones was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in two of her four plate appearances.

York Suburban's victory bumped their record up to 3-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. York Suburban will head out to face off against Oley Valley at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Central Dauphin East, they will challenge J.P. McCaskey at 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
