Softball Recap: Midland Park Comes Up Short

Midland Park lost against Waldwick back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Panthers lost 15-1 to the Warriors.

Midland Park saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Olivia Schaefer, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one RBI.

Midland Park's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Waldwick, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Midland Park will welcome Leonia at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Waldwick, they will square off against Pompton Lakes at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
