North Fork's loss ends five-game winning streak on the road

Recap: North Fork Miners vs. Coal Ridge Titans
The North Fork Miners lost against the Coal Ridge Titans back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. North Fork took a 41-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of Coal Ridge.
Several Miners players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Alyssa Lovelace, who scored nine points along with five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of London West, who scored ten points.
North Fork's defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 1-1. As for Coal Ridge, the win got them back to even at 4-4.
North Fork won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Cedaredge at 6:00 p.m. on December 15th. Hopefully Cedaredge focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Tuesday. Coal Ridge will be home for the holidays to greet Palisade at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
