Football Game Preview: Conneaut Spartans vs. Geneva Eagles

The Conneaut Spartans will take on the Geneva Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Conneaut is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 46-21 margin over Jefferson Area on Friday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Spartans with their most commanding win of the season.

Meanwhile, Geneva's game on Friday was all tied up 14-14 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They blew past Edgewood 42-14. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won seven in a row.

Geneva's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Conneaut, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Conneaut was taken down by Geneva 75-6 when the teams last played back in October of 2024. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Spartans were down 68-0.
