Softball Recap: Midland's Win Ends Five-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Midland's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. Everything went their way against the Carencro Bears as they made off with a 26-9 win. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Rebels' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

The team relied heavily on Mackenzie Credeur, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. What's more, she posted three hits, the most she's had over her last eight matchups. Another player making a difference was Sage Cormier, who scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.
