It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Jacksboro had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They blew past the Wall Hawks 9-3. Considering the Tigers have won 14 games by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Brooke Reaves made a splash while hitting and pitching. She tossed seven innings while giving up three earned runs off eight hits. Reaves was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one double.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Rylee Bennett, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and one triple. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Laney Cornish was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.

Jacksboro always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .543. They are a perfect 11-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Jacksboro is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 20-13 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for Wall, they moved to 28-6 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Jacksboro beat the Hawks by a score of 3-2 on Saturday.
