Basketball Recap: Peoples Academy Comes Up Short

Peoples Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They received a blow as they fell 63-47 to the Randolph Ghosts. The Wolves were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Ghosts earlier this season, when they won 63-45.

Peoples Academy's loss dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Randolph, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-7-1.

Coming up, Peoples Academy will square off against Thetford Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Randolph, they will head out on the road to challenge Montpelier at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Montpelier's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
