Soccer Game Preview: Winder-Barrow vs. Habersham Central

Winder-Barrow hasn't had much luck against Habersham Central recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Winder-Barrow Bulldoggs will be playing at home against the Habersham Central Raiders at 5:30 p.m. Winder-Barrow has given up an average of 5.2 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.

Winder-Barrow is headed into Friday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their ninth straight game on Tuesday. They lost 10-3 to Stephens County. Meanwhile, Habersham Central waltzed into their contest on Friday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. Their defense stepped up to hand the Gladiators a 10-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Raiders, who have now won six games by three goals or more so far this season.

Winder-Barrow's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Habersham Central, they pushed their record up to 8-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.
