Softball Recap: El Capitan Comes Up Short

El Capitan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 23rd straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Atwater Falcons, falling 10-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-1 on March 6th.

El Capitan's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Atwater, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season.

El Capitan will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Buhach Colony at 4:00 p.m. As for Atwater, they will face off against Merced at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Merced will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Atwater surely won't give up without a fight.
