It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Marion County had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They blew past the Hubbertville Lions, posting a 66-38 win. The victory was nothing new for the Red Raiders as they're now sitting on six straight.

Hubbertville's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ella Kate Curington, who went 5 of 7 to rack up 11 points. Another player making a difference was Layla Frederick, who posted five points and eight rebounds.

Marion County's win bumped their record up to 23-7. As for Hubbertville, their loss dropped their record down to 17-9.
