Basketball Recap: Wells Picks Up Sixth Consecutive Win

Wells waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came out on top against the Centerville Bulldogs by a score of 72-60. That's more bragging rights for the Pirates, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Braden White, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and 13 boards. White also put up a block, which was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Wyatt Clede, who shot 75% from the field en route to 12 points and five rebounds.

Wells' win bumped their record up to 13-8. As for Centerville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-8.
