Basketball Game Preview: Lynnwood Royals vs. Mariner Marauders

The Lynnwood Royals will challenge the Mariner Marauders at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Lynnwood is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

Last Friday, Lynnwood lost to Mountlake Terrace on the road by a 49-33 margin. While losing is never fun, the Royals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 274th, while the Hawks are ranked 135th).

Meanwhile, Mariner lost 58-35 to Glacier Peak on Friday. The match marked the Marauders' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Lynnwood's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Mariner, they now have a losing record at 6-7.
