Volleyball Recap: Alba Takes a Loss

Alba was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Mackinaw City Comets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Comets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Alba's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Mackinaw City, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-10-4 record this season.

Alba will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Wolverine at 5:30 p.m. on the 21st. As for Mackinaw City, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Harbor Light Christian on the 11th.
