Volleyball Recap: Kindred Falls Short Against Ranked Central Cass

Kindred faced Central Cass in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Vikings fell 3-1 to the Squirrels. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Vikings of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Kindred's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 6-4. As for Central Cass, their victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Kindred will take on Lisbon at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Central Cass, they will head out to take on Wahpeton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
