Basketball Recap: Trustin Holland's Big Game Can't Quite Lead North Side over Covenant Classical

North Side was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 61-57 heartbreaker at the hands of the Covenant Classical Cavaliers.

Several Steers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Trustin Holland, who went 7 of 14 on his way to 20 points and eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Samuel Garcia, who posted eight points along with 12 boards and five steals.

North Side's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Covenant Classical, their win bumped their record up to 9-7.

North Side didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 69-44 loss against Temple Christian on the 28th. As for Covenant Classical, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 61-60 victory against Terrell on the 28th.
