Basketball Game Preview: Limon Badgers vs. Yuma Outlaws + How To Watch

The Limon Badgers will take on the Yuma Outlaws in a holiday battle at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Limon and Peyton had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Badgers fell 53-47 to the Panthers on Thursday. Badgers fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Panthers since Thursday.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Yuma). They came out on top against Sidney by a score of 69-58 on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Outlaws.

Limon better keep an eye on Brody Sheffield. He was instrumental in Yuma's win, putting up 27 points in addition to six boards and three steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which Sheffield has scored at least a third of the Outlaws' points. Another player making a difference was Alex Pensado, who almost dropped a double-double with ten points and nine rebounds.

Yuma's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Limon, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
