Recap: Taft vs. Maine West
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Maine South, the Taft Eagles were happy to have found some success on Wednesday. Their defense stepped up to hand Maine West a 1-0 shutout. Taft's winning goal came courtesy of Anastasia Stojakovic.
The win got Taft back to even at 1-1. As for Maine West, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Taft will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Elk Grove at 6:30 p.m. on March 14th. As for Maine West, they will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Maine South at 4:30 p.m.
