Pilot Grove was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Prairie Home Panthers. On the bright side, the three- run performance marked the Tigers' highest-scoring match to date.

Pilot Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Prairie Home, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Looking ahead, Pilot Grove will face off against Madison at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14 runs per game on average), something the Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Prairie Home, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 10-0 loss against Jamestown on the 9th.
