Soccer Recap: Cristo Rey Takes a Loss

The Cristo Rey Monarchs didn't have quite enough to beat the Miami Christian Victors on Thursday and fell 4-3.

Cristo Rey hit Miami Christian with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Robert Alcide, Andres Davila, and Didier Beneche.

Cristo Rey's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Miami Christian, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Cristo Rey and Miami Christian will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matches. The next time the Monarchs see the pitch they'll take on Avant Garde Academy at 3:00 p.m. on December 5. As for Miami Christian, their break will end when they face Archimedean at 3:00 p.m. on December 2.
