Basketball Recap: Andon Olson Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Gothenburg

Valentine's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Gothenburg Swedes 52-49. This was payback for Valentine, who suffered a 61-36 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Valentine's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Andon Olson, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 12 rebounds. Olson has become a key player for Valentine: the team is undefeated when he posts at least eight boards, but 5-10 otherwise.
