Basketball Recap: Galena Grizzlies vs. Reed Raiders
Galena was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. The matchup between them and the Reed Raiders didn't end well, with the Galena Grizzlies falling 62-47. Galena's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Ramona Peterson, who went 6 for 11 en route to 17 points, and Julia Imse, who posted 13 points. Imse continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Mia Turner, who earned three points in addition to seven boards and three blocks.
Even though they lost, Galena was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Reed only posted four assists.

Galena wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 47-40 defeat against Damonte Ranch on the 7th. As for Reed, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 60-34 loss against Spanish Springs on the 7th.
