Yorkville extended their winning streak to seven on Monday, bumping their season record up to 17-8 in the process. They put the hurt on the Bolingbrook Raiders with a sharp 11-1 win. Considering the Foxes have won 11 contests by more than seven runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

As for Bolingbrook, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-21. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, they couldn't push the score so high this time.

For Bolingbrook's part, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Karina Choi, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Yorkville is set to challenge their familiar foe Minooka at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Foxes 3.4, the Indians 4) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Bolingbrook will face off against rival Oswego at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
