Soccer Recap: Plant Victorious

Plant kept a clean sheet against Land O' Lakes on Saturday. They had just enough and edged the Land O' Lakes Gators out 1-0. Gavin Cain had the honor of scoring the game-winner for the Panthers.

Plant is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-2-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 26 goals over those seven matchups. As for Land O' Lakes, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Plant will square off against Newsome at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Newsome is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.7 goals per game this season. As for Land O' Lakes, they will face off against Tenoroc at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
