There's no place like home for Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 13-3 margin over the Copper Basin Cougars on Wednesday. Considering the Eagles have won eight matchups by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
JYLIAN HARBIN made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out 12 over six innings pitched. HARBIN was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 3-for-5.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on EMERY HENDERSON, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-4. Another player making a difference was TORI WILLIAMS, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.
Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .553. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Copper Basin only posted an OBP of .370.
