Basketball Recap: Hanover-Horton Takes a Loss

Hanover-Horton was the 47-30 winner over Concord when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Comets fell 49-36 to the Yellowjackets on Monday.

Hanover-Horton's loss was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-3. Those home defeats can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 52.3 points this season. As for Concord, their victory bumped their record up to 6-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hanover-Horton will be home for the holidays to greet Grass Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Concord, they will host Reading at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Yellowjackets will be up against the Rangers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 61.2 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
