Garfield is 10-0 against Nathan Hale since January of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 188th, while the Panthers are ranked 16th).

Nathan Hale's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Garfield, their win bumped their record up to 12-3.

Everything came up roses for Garfield against Nathan Hale in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, as the squad secured a 95-51 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Garfield since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
