Willy Shearer Goes Supernova in Hobart Loss

Hobart had to settle for second on Friday, but Willy Shearer sure wasn't going down easily. Shearer was unstoppable, rushing for 79 yards and three touchdowns. Hobart is 2-1 when Shearer posts two or more rushing touchdowns, but 2-3 otherwise.

Shearer must have Hammond Morton's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. When Shearer last faced the Governors back in October of 2023, he rushed for 230 yards and five touchdowns.

A Season-Best Effort from Diego Arroyo Leads Kankakee Valley over Highland

Kankakee Valley was led to victory by Diego Arroyo, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Arroyo rushed for 22 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 127 yards and a touchdown on only ten passes.

Colton Scott Delivers Best Effort of Season

Lowell was led to victory by Colton Scott, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Scott rushed for 85 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 56 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
