Soccer Recap: Palisade Takes a Loss

Palisade lost against Battle Mountain back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Palisade came up short against Battle Mountain, falling 4-1. That's two games in a row now that Palisade have lost by exactly three goals.

This is the second loss in a row for Palisade and nudges their season record down to 2-2. As for Battle Mountain, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1-2.

Coming up, Palisade will head out on the road to square off against Coal Ridge at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Battle Mountain, they will welcome Sand Creek at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Sand Creek's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
