Baseball Recap: South Point Pointers vs. Westfall Mustangs
South Point was the 3-2 winner over Westfall when they last played one another back in May of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The South Point Pointers took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Westfall Mustangs on Thursday. South Point has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
South Point saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Xathan Haney, who went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI.
South Point's loss dropped their record down to 14-13. As for Westfall, their win bumped their record up to 8-13.
As of now, neither South Point nor Westfall have any future games scheduled.
