Colville made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Mt. Baker, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Crimson Hawks were the clear victors by an 18-9 margin over the Mountaineers on Saturday. The Crimson Hawks' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

The win made it two in a row for Colville and bumps their season record up to 3-1. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.0 runs over those games. As for Mt. Baker, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Coincidentally, Colville and Mt. Baker will both be playing Eisenhower the next time they take the field. The Mountaineers will head out to face the Cadets at 10:45 a.m. on Saturday, while the Crimson Hawks will play them later in the day, at 2:15 p.m.
