Escanaba posted their closest win since April 11th on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-6 victory over the Gladstone Braves. This was a revenge game for the Eskymos: when they faced off against the Braves on Saturday, they had to take a 1-0 defeat.

The win made it two in a row for Escanaba and bumps their season record up to 10-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Gladstone, they moved to 12-7 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Escanaba will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Braves: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
