Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Parkridge Christian

Parkridge Christian proved they can win big last Friday (they won by three) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Sheridan Hills Christian Sharks 3-2. The win was nothing new for the Panthers as they're now sitting on three straight.

Parkridge Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Magnolia Williamson out in front who had seven digs, six aces, and one block. What's more, Williamson racked up six assists, the most she's had over her last seven matches. The team also got some help courtesy of Aliyah Cooper, who had 16 digs, two aces, and one block.

They weren't the only good server: Parkridge Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 16 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 15 aces in three consecutive contests.

Parkridge Christian now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Sheridan Hills Christian, they moved to 7-4 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Coming up, Parkridge Christian will challenge Highlands Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sheridan Hills Christian, they will welcome Academy for Innovative Education at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
