Basketball Recap: Woodinville Takes Down Ranked Union

On Friday, Woodinville faced Union in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Woodinville Falcons managed a 70-66 win over the Union Titans. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Falcons.

Woodinville's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Hailey Quiggle, who went 7-for-14 to rack up 25 points and six rebounds. That's the most points Quiggle has posted since back in January. Jazlyn Wilkerson was another key player, putting up 19 points and three steals.

Woodinville's victory bumped their record up to 24-4. As for Union, their loss dropped their record down to 20-4.

Woodinville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Union, they will face off against Glacier Peak at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Union knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 24 matchups -- so hopefully Glacier Peak likes a good challenge.
