Basketball Recap: Edison Comes Up Short

Edison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They came up short against the Madonna Blue Dons, falling 63-43.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Madonna to victory, but perhaps none more so than Reed Wilharm, who went 7 of 12 on his way to 16 points in addition to five assists and five boards. Andre Crossland was another key player, as he made all 5 shots he took racking up 14 points and eight rebounds.

Edison's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Madonna, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-6.

Edison will head out on the road to take on Catholic Central at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Madonna, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 56-37 victory against Beallsville on the 29th.
