New Albany is a perfect 8-0 against Madison since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Bulldogs will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against the Cubs at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

New Albany is coming home in high spirits after they had to open their season on the road against North Harrison. The Bulldogs were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Cougars on Monday.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-16, 25-16.

Among those leading the charge was Kinley Bush, who had five aces and four digs.

Meanwhile, Madison took care of business in their home opener (barely) on Tuesday. They skirted past Batesville 3-2.

Madison took Batesville into a fifth set where they got it done with a three-point win. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-21, 25-21, 21-25, 15-12.

Everything went New Albany's way against Madison in their previous meeting back in August of 2024, as New Albany made off with a 3-0 victory. Do the Bulldogs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Cubs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
