The Columbus School for Girls Unicorns's and the Shekinah Christian Flames's contest on Tuesday was close at halftime, but the Columbus School for Girls Unicorns turned on the heat in the second half with 30 points. Columbus School for Girls was the clear victor by a 54-34 margin over the Flames. The win made it back-to-back wins for Columbus School for Girls.

Shekinah Christian lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Noe Wanty, who scored three points along with five rebounds and five steals. Alinea Slabaugh was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with three blocks.

Columbus School for Girls' win bumped their record up to 7-12. As for Shekinah Christian, their loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Columbus School for Girls will challenge the Silver Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
