Softball Recap: Walden Grove Takes a Loss

Walden Grove lost against Salpointe Catholic back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Walden Grove fell 7-2 to Salpointe Catholic. The Red Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Walden Grove saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Oliviah Valdez, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Walden Grove now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Salpointe Catholic, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Walden Grove will square off against Pusch Ridge Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Salpointe Catholic, they will face off against Walden Grove at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
