Airport and Tecumseh are an even 3-3 against one another since December of 2014, but not for long. The Airport Jets will be taking part in a tournament against the Tecumseh Indians at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Airport's tournament run continued when they took on Flat Rock on Friday. Airport came out on top against Flat Rock by a score of 50-41. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Jets.

Meanwhile, Tecumseh waltzed into their game on Friday with 15 straight wins... but they left with 16. They claimed a resounding 55-24 victory over the Trojans. Given the Indians' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked fourth, while the Trojans are ranked 119th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Tecumseh's win bumped their record up to 23-1. As for Airport, their victory bumped their record up to 18-7.

Airport took a serious blow against Tecumseh when the teams last played last Thursday, falling 76-44. Can Airport avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
