Baseball Recap: Morenci Wildcats vs. Santa Rita Eagles

After only two runs in their last contest, Morenci made sure to put some runs up on the board against Santa Rita on Monday. Everything went the Morenci Wildcats' way against the Santa Rita Eagles as the Morenci Wildcats made off with a 16-2 victory. With that win, Morenci brought their scoring average up to 6.4 runs per game.

Peyton Basteen was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off one hit (and not a single walk).
