Volleyball Recap: Flowing Wells Beats Buena for Their Third Straight Victory

Flowing Wells entered their tilt with Buena on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Colts. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Caballeros also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2022.

Flowing Wells' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Chris Anaya-Ashe, who had 16 assists and four digs. Angel Murrieta also deserves some recognition as he had his first digs of the season.

Flowing Wells' victory bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Buena, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Flowing Wells wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Verrado on the 28th. As for Buena, they will challenge Flowing Wells at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
