Basketball Game Preview: Harmony Longhorns vs. Palm Bay Pirates + How To Watch

Having just played yesterday, the Harmony Longhorns will get right back to it and host the Palm Bay Pirates at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Harmony took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They slipped by City of Life Christian Academy 58-57.

Meanwhile, Palm Bay was able to grind out a solid victory over Treasure Coast on Tuesday, taking the game 74-61.

Palm Bay had a senior duo take command as Caden Newton shot 53% from the field to rack up 24 points along with eight assists and four steals and Omar Clarke went 8-for-13 on his way to 17 points in addition to six assists and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Malik Brown, who shot 75% from the field en route to 14 points and seven boards.

Harmony ended up a good deal behind Palm Bay when the teams last played back in February of 2020, losing 62-47. Can the Longhorns avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
