Volleyball Recap: East Takes a Loss

After flying high against Buchtel last Thursday, East came back down to earth. The Dragons came up short against the Garfield Rams on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

While East was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Garfield's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-15, 25-16.

East now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Garfield, their victory bumped their record up to 4-8.

Looking ahead, East will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Ellet at 6:00 p.m. As for Garfield, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Our Lady of the Elms on the 17th.
