Whitley County entered their tilt with Williamsburg on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They breezed by the Williamsburg Yellow Jackets to the tune of 66-26. Given the Colonels' advantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 57th, while the Yellow Jackets are ranked 219th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Whitley County pushed their record up to 16-7 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.0 points over those games. As for Williamsburg, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 12 of their last 13 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Whitley County will head out to square off against Rockcastle County at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Rockcastle County will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Whitley County surely won't give up without a fight. As for Williamsburg, they will head out on the road to face off against Lee County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
