Cajon came into Tuesday's match having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Citrus Valley Blackhawks on Tuesday. The game was the first time the Cowboys have beaten the Blackhawks on their court since September 15, 2022.

Cajon had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-23, 25-16, 25-17.

Ailina Butler paced Cajon's offense, picking up 11 kills. Butler got some help from Sayra Corona and her 28 assists. Finally, Fern Udell kept Cajon's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Cajon's win bumped their record up to 10-14. As for Citrus Valley, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-20.

Cajon wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Redlands on the 15th. As for Citrus Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Beaumont on the 15th.
