Preview: Mid-Prairie vs. Davis County
Mid-Prairie have been homebodies their last two matches, but they are heading out on Friday. They take on Davis County at 7:00 PM. Mid-Prairie don't have the home-field advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.
Mid-Prairie came up short against Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont last Friday, falling 6-13. This makes it the second defeat in a row for Mid-Prairie.
Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for Davis County, and their game last Friday only extended their streak of losses to four. They had victory within their grasp but couldn't quite capture it as the squad lost 32-33 to Albia. Things were expected to be close, but in this case the state rankings mixed up the winning team.
