Southridge waltzed into their contest on Saturday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. They strolled past the Barr-Reeve Vikings with points to spare, taking the game 64-48. This was payback for the Raiders, who suffered a 47-43 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Barr-Reeve lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Korben Boyd, who went 5-for-12 to rack up 10 points. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Kierson Lengacher, who posted ten points.

Southridge's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.5 points over those games. As for Barr-Reeve, they moved to 16-5 with that loss, which also ended their 13-game winning streak.

Coming up, Southridge will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Boonville at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in Southridge's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matches. As for Barr-Reeve, they will face off against Bloomfield at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Barr-Reeve is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54 points per game this season.
