Jermaine Nance Delivers Electric Performance Vs Lincoln

Starting off the list is Kimball's Jermaine Nance, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Nance rushed for 194 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 10.8 yards per carry. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 93-yard run.

The win was the fifth in a row for Kimball, bringing their record for this year to 5-1. Nance and Kimball will face off against St. Mary's at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Devin Rasmussen Delivers Best Performance of Season

Devin Rasmussen produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Edison to the win on Friday. Rasmussen threw for 235 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 11.8 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 33 yards.

The win snapped Edison's winning streak at six games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-5 record. They and Lincoln are set to duel on Friday.

Jordin Thomas Crosses Big Stat Threshold

Lincoln came up short on Friday despite Jordin Thomas delivering his best game to date. Thomas rushed for 191 yards and two touchdowns. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (104.8). He is becoming a predictor of Lincoln's success: when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns the team is 2-1 (and 0-3 when he doesn't).

Unfortunately for Kimball, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Thomas. Thomas rushed for 125 yards and two touchdowns the last time he and the Jaguars duked it out back in August of 2023.

Another Lincoln player making an appearance on this list is Julian Perez. He threw for 216 yards and three touchdowns.

Richard Zuniga Turns in Season-Best Effort

Kimball was led to victory by Richard Zuniga, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Zuniga wasn't messing around, picking up two sacks and making 15 total tackles. The matchup was his sixth straight with six or more total tackles dating back to last season.
