Softball Recap: Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia Gets the Win

The Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia Trojans were able to grind out a solid victory over the Quincy Blue Devils on Saturday, taking the game 10-5. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Trojans.

Mylee Tracy was a standout: she went a perfect 5-for-5 with one home run, three runs, and two doubles. Those five hits gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Mia McCombs, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .514. They are a perfect 12-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia's win bumped their record up to 16-5. As for Quincy, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-14.

Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 9-4 victory against Seymour on the 3rd. As for Quincy, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 loss against Moline on the 5th.
