Franklin Road Christian triumphant thanks to a strong effort from Noah Pence

Recap: Franklin Road Christian Minutemen vs. South Haven Christian

The Franklin Road Christian Minutemen came tearing into Monday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.5 points) and they left with even more momentum. They took down South Haven Christian 93-79. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.

It was another big night for Noah Pence, who scored 41 points along with nine assists and six rebounds. Pence is absolutely dominating the point category: he's posted at least 15 every time he's taken the court this season. Ben Walker was another key contributor, scoring 22 points along with five rebounds.

Franklin Road Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season. As for South Haven Christian, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 10-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Franklin Road Christian won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Boyd Christian at 7:30 p.m. on January 30th. The timing isn't great for Boyd Christian: they have been struggling with eight straight losses at home, while Franklin Road Christian has snatched up three consecutive wins on the road. As for South Haven Christian, they will challenge Christian Community at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
