Baseball Game Preview: Nandua Warriors vs. Northampton Yellowjackets

Nandua is on a four-game streak of home losses, and Northampton a four-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Thursday. The Nandua Warriors will welcome the Northampton Yellowjackets at 4:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Tuesday, Nandua didn't have quite enough to beat Arcadia and fell 5-3.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Northampton's offense. They fell 4-0 to Chincoteague on Tuesday.

Northampton saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Riley Carpenter, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Northampton's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Nandua, their defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 7-7.

Everything went Nandua's way against Northampton in their previous meeting last Tuesday, as Nandua made off with a 15-6 victory. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Yellowjackets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
